I Miss You (03.09.07)

Even though we never grew up together,
I brought you a rose in a bough of heather,
I loved you for now and ever,
You will be mine forever
There were no secrets
That could tear us apart
And we never fought

I miss you,
Your smell is still everywhere,
Your clothes is still lie there
Where you left them,
I couldn’t bear to move them
Since you left me

I loved you
And you loved me
But you thought
To take advantage of me
And stab me in the back

You brought me
Back from
My brink of extinction
With your sweet smell
And your slow, soft love
Healed me on the inside

Even though no weapon
Could pierce me
You cut me deeper
Than anything else could

But I still wish
And hope for you to return
To my loving embrace
We had such
Great fun together
For all out time together

Life Over Death (19.09.07)

Why do teenagers think life
Is so hard
That they have to turn
To self-harm or suicide?
Normally it’s the ones
Who have a lot going for them,
But fail at one simple thing

Life’s simple,
People just make it hard
For others,
But there are people willing
To help you
Overcome your problems
Without digging too deep

Without new blood,
Our race will
Die, wiped off the Earth
By old age and diseases,
No-one to take up the family
Business once the
Manager dies

We’re making sings,
To haul you in,
So we can help you
Off Suicidal Road
And back onto
Easy Street

We’ll be there for you
‘Till our hearts are black and blue,
Heaven is on the way
You hate yourself,
But I guess you never will again
With us around

You don’t need to cut your wrists,
Or slit you throat
Just to end your pain
We can do that for you,
By counseling the hate
And the demons out of you

The Individual Vs. The Machine (22.09.07)

The Individual and
The Machine will
Always duke it out
To see who will win
It’s the Individual over
The Machine in all stories,
Even if the Individual loses their life

Our society is obsessed with money
But people in our society who have a lack of money
Are helped by others
With little or lots of money to spare

Our society is too distrustful,
We don’t even lend friends
Things, even though we may not
Get them back,
So what? You can replace them,
It’s not like you lent them
Something valuable

Our society is turning conformist,
More of us are spending more time
In front of computers, televisions,
And other technology,
Without turning to a game
Of backyard cricket,
Just as Ray Bradbury said
In The Pedestrian,
“The tomb-like houses”

WA is so corrupt
That we have earned
The name “Burke’s Backyard”,
Through MP’s links with
Brian Burke, a controversial lobbyist,
And his business partner,
Julian Grille

The One (04.09.07)

It was a dark
And stormy night
When I met you
And I thought
You were
The one
For me

I hope
That you’re
The one
For me
If not,
You are
The prototype

We met today
For a reason
And I believe
It’s because
You’re the one
For me

I’ll wait
And wait
For you
As I know
You are
The one
For me
But I
Also know
The course
Of true love
Doesn’t run smooth

You’re the one
For me
There’s no use
In denying it

This Is The World (10.09.07)

We are all part of God’s creation
Everyone in every nation
The birds and the trees
Forests and the majestic trees
All different and weird things
Including animals with huge wings

This is the world
We live in this wondrous place
And we are all part of God’s creation
Many but one nation
We have to care for God’s creation
Ourselves, the environment
Animals and plants

We have to stop pollution
Or slow it down
We need to reverse ozone hole layer thinning
For this will only be the beginning
The Artic/Antarctic ice is melting
‘Gonna cause a new ice age
Which will wipe out
Most animals and plants
That can’t handle the cold

This is our world
It’s the only one we have
And if it ends
We will be damned
For all of eternity
In the Seventh Plane of Hell
